32 weeks

This will be a short one. I’m still not feeling well and reading a book(!)(Tina Fey’s Bossypants) for the first time in months. And this time, I will not stop and forget about it halfway *shakes fist*

At 7 months, 8 days, Emma is starting to:
– Sit without being held. She can rock on her legs, turn slightly to grab stuff, and generally bounce excitedly at her newfound skill. Last week, she still couldnt get up to sittong position on her own but yesterday while she was lying on me in a half-sitting posiion, she lifted her body up on her own to a sitting position *cues applause*
– For the past week, I’ve seen her get on her hands and knees. Soon, she’ll be crawling all over the place. For now, we have the army-style crawling.
– Since coming back from Seremban 10 day ago, Emma has had this rash that we thought were mozie bites. Put some papaw ointment and let it be but it grew in numbers. This morning, we woke up to a full face of red dots and rashes. There’s also more behind the ears and all over her legs. Wadafak! Anyway brought her to the paeditrician and he concludes it’s mozzie bites. We’re still not sure but have chose to monitor and use just stickon mozzie repellant. Have stopped using any lotions, creams and powder on her.
– Other than that, Emma’s complexion seems to have lighten.
– I think she said the word ‘mam’ while being fed rice porridge+carrot this evening. TWICE!
