Pete told me yesterday that our little girl demanded to try some of the papaya that he was eating. The story goes like this: he was carrying her on his lap while munching on papaya. She watched him intently (which I notice she has been doing for the past two weeks whenever we eat in front of her). Pete noticed and brushed a piece against her mouth. Since she’s still only five months, he left it at that and continued eating. When he finished, she threw up her arms and protested. Protested like when she wanted us to carry her but we put her down on the bed. Because he was still chewing on the last one, he took some out and gave it to her. She made a face and didn’t seem to like it that much afterall :p

Soon, we’ll need to start her on solids, which is both exciting and daunting.
